Pav Bhaji Recipe, Mumbai Roadside

Pav Bhaji is a tasty Indian dish functioned as a Side Meal, this meal that came from Mumbai food. While Bhaji is a standard Indian name for a veggie meal, the Pav or Pau or Pao was the Portuguese word for bread (small rolls).
Pav bhaji is more than a simple snack, it's a fast dish that can be gotten hold of on the go- given that big potions of the bhaji are made beforehand and just reheated with a couple of spices prior to serving.
Pav bhaji includes bhaji (a thick potato-based curry) garnished with coriander, sliced onion, and a dashboard of lemon and gently toasted pav. The pav is typically buttered on all sides.

Ingredients:
10 - pavs
1 - big potato, boiled and mashed somewhat
2 cups - combined boiled veggies
1 - big onion, sliced
1/2 tsp - chilli powder
2-3 - green chillies, sliced carefully (or as per taste).
2-3 - cloves garlic.
1.5 cups - sliced Tomatoes
1 cup - Tomato puree
1 cup - sliced capsicum
2 inch - grated ginger (or 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste ).
2 tablespoon - pav bhaji masala.
1 tsp - black salt (optional).
1 tsp - fennel seeds
1 tsp - cumin seeds
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
Butter to prepare.
Salt to taste.
Directions:
1. Heat about 3-4 tablespoon of butter, bring in onions and saute them till soft. Bring in capsicum and saute for another minutes.
2. Include the tomatoes and blend well, till soft.
3. If made use of) and blend well another 5-10 minutes till the raw scent of the puree goes away, bring in the puree along with the spices (consisting of black salt. Period with salt.
4. Bring in the boiled veggies together with the potatoes, blend well and if the gravy is thick include little water.
5. Let it come to a boil and after that minimize and let it warm in simmer.
6. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with butter.
7. Take a bun/pav, slice it in half and cook with butter till gently brown on both the sides.
8. Serve hot with the bhaji (gravy), garnish with cilantro and lemon wedges.
