Ingredients
1 cup  - whole Green gram
2 tsp - raw rice
1 - onion
1 inch piece - ginger
1 tsp - cumin seeds
4-5 - green chillies
Salt to taste
Finely chopped onions
Directions
1. Soak green gram and rice together for 5-6 hours.
2. Grind it to a smooth paste together with 1 onion, green chillies, ginger and required salt.
3. Include cumin seeds and blend well.
4. Heat a tava, pour a ladle of batter in the center and spread it in a circlular motion from the center to the beyond the tawa.
5. Sprinkle a tsp of oil around the dosa.
6. Sprinkle sliced onions on the top and press it gently with a ladle or spatula.
7. After it gets cooked, turn it over to the opposite, drizzle a little oil and cook up until done.
8. Serve hot with ginger chutney or coconut chutney.
